In the pursuit of adjusting to the precautionary measures of “The New Normal” for COVID-19, we have adapted our procedures to be in line with the latest government regulations and “Shangri-La Cares” the group’s global safety program. For your safety and those around you, please read the below highlights about our hotel services during this period:

Valet Parking

  • Upon arriving to the resort, you may experience a waiting time between 15 to 20 minutes leading up to Al Bandar Lobby as we can only permit one car at a time by the main entrance.
  • Valet Parking is available only for guests with special needs, as per government regulations.
  • For your convenience, we recommend dropping off your luggage at the main entrance and parkingyour car afterwards in our designated car parking

Guest Room

  • For your safety and well-being, your room has been fully sanitized prior to your arrival.
  • Your guest room will look emptier than before; as we have removed all high touch items such as notepads, directories, and other collaterals. Please dial “0” should you wish to request any of the above.
  • We have sanitized and sealed all your amenities in individual packages.

Your Dining Experience

  • Al Tanoor Restaurant: Please call extension 6565 or 6540 for your Breakfast or Dinner reservation.
  • Prior Reservation is Essential: Seating capacity for restaurants has been reduced by 50% and is limited to a maximum of 4 guests per table, so please reserve your spot in advance.
  • Restaurant reservation time slots are subject to a first come first serve basis. If your desired time is not available, we will immediately offer you the closest available time.
  • Please make sure you arrive on time as your designated 90-minute time slot cannot be exceeded.
  • Circles Pool Bar: Our pool bar is now open for Dine-in and takeaway.
  • Food and beverage service is not available temporarily on the beach and the swimming pool. Feel free to place your order at Circles’ takeaway station; to enjoy your To-Go meal by your sun lounger

Pool & Beach Usage

  • Swimming Pools - are subject to controlled capacities to ensure that safe distancing is maintained amongst guests. Our pool opens from 07:00 to 19:00, and our lifeguard will monitor the maximum capacity in the swimming pool to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
  • Al Bandar Beach – lifeguards are on duty from 07:00 to 19:00, to ensure you stay within the swimming zone and that safe distancing is maintained amongst guests.
